Arabic Wissam method.. lesson 2

alrighty now so how are you all ? (well at least to the bright side of the people reading this anyway haha)

previously on the ment.. hold on not all of you watch the mentalist.. besides this isn't even a tv show!... YET muhaha

the great katib(كاتب) got out from behind his maktab(مكتب) he did great job you know, he kataba(كتب) one of the best sellers a great kitab(كتاب) which now you can find in every maktabah(مكتبة)..

and that was what we learned last time, remember? if you do then you are cool and want to learn arabic which will make it easier for you this time and you will learn more, yay you !!

shall we start then?

remember when i told you most of the nouns if you added a "ة" it will turn magically to a female form of the word and we learned the word for a male writer is ....? BINGO! katib(كاتب) would you like to have the honors of being a smartie and tell me what a female writer is...?   yeah that was not even hard get over yourself :P hahah but true!! katibah (كاتبة)

the wife of our great katib (كاتب) is a great katibah (كاتبة) herself

ha! who knew! i bet they might have fights over using the maktab or who's kitab is better who knows haha
okay let's stay at the 'ة' part and let's see...
we took kitab is a book that was made when the writer kataba... but what happens if we add a ' ة ' after the word kitab? hmm well you know people say 'behind every great man there is a woman! *cough taking his wallet cough*' hahah and we established that the ' ة ' makes most of things to feminine side almost like the color pink! haha
so kitab (كتاب) becomes kitabah (كتابة) which is writing the thing that happened to make the kitab possible just like the woman in the great man thingy

so the katib (كاتب) did a lot of kitabah (كتابة) to make that kitab (كتاب) happen so he can show off with his work in front of his wife the katibah (كاتبة)

oh boy the Arabic language is all connected with each other how can i ever learn it!!  just remember you already know a language like that and you learned it.... yes italian -_- it's English you genius! haha remember? [write, written, writing, writer, wrote] see? so don't worry you are learning i promise :)

okay we took kitab (كتاب) but dude! that's a katib (كاتب) married to a katibah (كاتبة) they must have a lot of....?  umm kitabs? aha!...  no -_-
for more than two books we say kutub (كتب)
yeaaah why more than two? what is the word for two?.... we will come to that.
isn't that the same word for kataba (كتب)? heeey you are teaching us wrong man!! oi we want our money back!!.... calm down dude you didn't pay anything -_- and i'm not teaching you wrong -_-
Arabic language have this thing called tashkeel (تشكيل) these little suckers helps you to read properly if you know them then that's GREAT! if no then tell me and i'll make something work for ya! dontcha worry mate!
here is how kataba and kutub looks like with the tashkeel

the well known katibah (كاتبة) was standing outside her husband's maktab (مكتب) waiting for the great katib (كاتب) to finish kitabah (كتابة) she wants to add his new kitab (كتاب) to their kutub (كتب) collection in their huge maktabah (مكتبة) after all her husband kataba (كتب) a lot of kutub (كتب) lately

how can we know without tashkeel man? it's confusing
actually it's not, think about it when you read "add his new كتاب to their كتب collection" it's really hard to mean kataba as in wrote don't you think so? she doesn't want to add his new book to their wrote collection! come on dude no one wants that collection -_- haha and also when you read "her husband كتب" it's really hard to understand that her husband is books it's obviously that her husband wrote... see? don't worry it'll grow into you :D in the mean time i will add a picture of the word with tashkeel when it's needed :)

and that's it for today! not hard is it?
